Environmental initiatives

Doing the right thing.

As part of the IDEX Corporation, FTL are proud to be leading the way with their Environmental Social Governance Policy.
As a company we are continuously striving to improve how we operate and the impact we have on the world around us, plus the community which are in the heart of.

FTL has already invested in a large solar panel array which is predicted to provide almost half of the energy required annually for us to operate. This figure is set to improve as we continue to invest and review how we can be even more efficient.

All the company fleet cars are now hybrid or fully electric and in support of that, there is a bank of EV charge points in the office carpark.

Smaller day-to-day initiatives include recycling as much as possible, including waste cardboard packaging from our production areas, a battery recycling point and making the switch to paper-based tape on all our shipments.
